PS4 Release Date: Where to Watch Live Stream of Sony E3 Press Conference at 9 p.m. (WATCH)

The moment PlayStation fans have been waiting for is almost here. Sony’s media briefing at the Electronic Entertainment Expo will being at 9 p.m. EDT (6 p.m. PST). This is where fans and gamers expect Sony to finally unveil the PlayStation 4, according to VentureBeat.

The live stream will be on the PlayStation website. Click here.

When Sony launched the PS4 in February, fans were left a little bit disappointed when the company didn’t show the actual console. (Which is understandable. If someone tells you something is coming and holds a big event to announce that thing, it’s usually nice to be able to actually see the thing being announced.) The company said it would wait and reveal the actual console at E3.

Sony released a teaser trailer for the new console back on May 20. Many believed this was to keep step with Microsoft who would be announcing the new Xbox One just a day later. Unlike Sony, Microsoft showed its console during the Xbox One launch event.

At the launch in February, Sony displayed some new games that will appear on its next-gen console including a new “Knack” and a new “Killzone.”

Among the other games coming to the PS4 is “Destiny”, which is also currently a TV show on the SyFy channel. The game is a product of the developer Bungie.

"People want to see games, and we are hopefully going to bring a game that people will love," said Eric Osborne, the game’s senior writer and the head of community for Bungie. "We've worked really hard, and bleary eyes are starting to give way to smiles. It's just really exciting for us. You always wonder what people are going to say."

While Sony is expected to reveal quite a lot at E3, there is no word on whether announcement will be made at E3 about a release date or price for the PlayStation 4.
