Russian Defense Ministry sources state that the notorious Kraken nationalist battalion members were terminated by precise weaponry on the battlefield as Russia gained dominance in eastern Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the notorious nationalist battalion was decimated close to Kharkov. About a hundred nationalists, also called the Kraken group that has attacked civilians in the DPR and LPR, were eliminated.

Overwhelming Ukrainian Forces

The Russian army used precision artillery attacks on military targets in East Ukraine; an attack on the Kraken base, according to Russian defense officials on Wednesday, reported RT.

It was confirmed that more than one hundred fighters in Kharkov got killed due to attacks with heavy artillery, also, 10 of their armored transport were demolished.

More information from the defense ministry revealed precise missile strikes, which destroyed command centers that included a foreign mercenary training center, ammo dumps, and repair bases affecting the Ukrainian war effort, cited the Press United.

The ministry reported that after experiencing substantial losses, the Kraken unit's leaders ordered their military units to abandon their positions and pull back to Kharkov.

Defense Ministry remarked the Kraken unit is a nationalist fighting force and an offshoot of the infamous Azov regiment that recently suffered a devastating loss in Mariupol.

This Ukrainian unit is a special reconnaissance and sabotage unit controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry that is autonomous from the Armed forces of Ukraine.

Kraken Nationalist Unit

The exact number of fighters who make up the notorious nationalist battalion is unknown, said the Russian Defense Ministry, but some sources estimate that there are about 1,800 of them.

The majority of the soldiers in the unit are Azov veterans and volunteers, many of whom have ultranationalist and far-right ties.

Russian officials allege the battalion of war crimes blamed on Russia from day one of the special operations. Their soldiers did not respect the rights of Russian POWS via violence and torture that Zelensky and his officials deny.

The leader of the Kraken unit is Konstantin Nemichev, an ex-AZOV commander who lost an election for Kharkov mayor a year ago. He has a bounty on the most wanted list because he threatened the lives of eight Russian soldiers in the Region, noted Mass News.

Mikhail Mizintsev, Russia's National Defense Control Center, accused these Kraken members of harassing residents in the Kharkov region. They even threatened or tortured people who were pro-Russia without rebuke from Zelensky.

Members of this militant group are mostly radicals, killers taken from jails, and raiders against anyone siding with Russia.

They would form death squads and enter houses of locals who the SBU brands as sympathizers; they would kill and torture these civilians in black sites as the Kiev regime endorses their barbarity.

Kraken members would place mines in a Kharkiv children's hospital with people in it; they wanted to blow up these places when Russians came in.

Mizintsev also stated that journalists from international news organizations, such as CNN, had already arrived in several cities throughout Ukraine to document terrorist attacks on civilian infrastructure that would later be attributed to Russian forces.

On February 24, Russia dispatched troops into Ukraine, blaming Kyiv for failing to carry out the Minsk agreements, which were meant to grant the Donetsk and Lugansk regions special status within the Ukrainian state.

Russian Defense Ministry officials verify that the notorious Nationalist Battalion with a hundred or more members was taken out by Russian weaponry in Kharkov.
