Ukrainian Officer Baranyuk blames defective Javelin missiles made in the US that led to losing the fight against Russia, which is not how western sources have portrayed it.

Captured Ukrainian officer revealed that defective US-made Javelin missiles were ineffective in combat.

Unlike what the foreign media claimed as effective, the US weapons turned out to be dud and useless, resulting in losses for Zelensky's forces.

Despite what Ukraine says in which the Battle of Mariupol has the Azov Nazis and regular Ukraine forces at a disadvantage, that is the opposite of Washington's narrative.

US-Provided Weapons Deemed Useless, Ineffective

Washington leaders have touted the anti-tank weapon, and even Joe Biden is a loud dud. Giving the US one hard knock and, ironically, a symbol of the resistance of Ukraine against Russia getting a beating, the Daily Telegraph reported.

One of the POWs is captured by the Russian army, a Ukraine marine commander captured in the battle for Mariupol. He told RT that the US bloated its effectiveness and did not function most of the time.

Colonel Vladimir Baranyuk, a commander of the 36th Naval Infantry Brigade, stated that the anti-tank missiles failed in the field despite what the media claimed.

He added the weapon had severe problems in the field that worked against them in urban warfare, making things more difficult against Putin's army.

Ukrainian forces had the Next-generation Light Anti-tank Weapons (NLAWs) sourced from Britain. It had flaws that cost them in battle, as well as Defective US-made Javelin missiles in urban combat.

He added that the UK NLAWS missile launchers were preferred over the touted US anti-tank weapon that malfunctioned a lot. One problem of the NLAWS is that the cold climate could drain the battery pack fast, rendering it unable to fire.

The US-made anti-tank rocket is a shoulder-mounted weapon that uses infrared guidance; when launched targets the tank's turret where it's least armored.

US Touts the Weapon System

America has provided more than 5,000 Javelins to Kyiv. Last week, Republican Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri asserted that it was one-third of all these systems.

London, for its part, already has provided over 4,000 NLAWs as well as other anti-tank missiles to the Ukrainian military, noted the Press United.

These testimonials go against what US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated in April, mentioning the conflict in Ukraine. Field claims of Baranyuk contradict the declaration that it was effective, not a failure or a dud.

During the conflict, an image of the Virgin Mother Mary with a Javelin is used to promote the weapon as an internet meme. Even President Joe Biden bragged earlier this week about how Ukrainian parents named their infant babies Javelin or Javelina to commemorate the American system.

Baranyuk and his unit were defending the northern outer limits of Mariupol; an import port city located in southeastern Ukraine; they got overrun by Russian forces.

He was caught trying to escape because Volodymyr Zelensky lied on his claim there would help and was abandoned instead.

Mariupol is under Russian forces despite western claims, and the Azov Nazis are stuck in a desperate situation and seemingly abandoned by Volodymyr Zelensky.

Baranyuk, a Ukrainian officer, revealed the defective US-made Javelin missiles supplied did not work and cost them much; western media says otherwise.
