There's no denying that it has been a rocky few months for former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards; despite her tremendous unplanned year, the reality star is keeping positive.

Richards returned to Twitter after a lengthy break and slightly opened up about her health and sobriety, writing, "It's a Wonderful Wednesday. Remember to appreciate and love yourself as well as others today. Have a VAVOOMSHABANG kind of day stay cool."

On Tuesday, the reality star wished her fans a Happy Labor day, writing, "I hope you all had a fun & safe Labor Day. I've missed you all! Thank you for all the Love. You all mean so much to me."

When a fan asked if she was still sober, Richards simply replied, "Yes I am," along with several smiley face emojis and hearts. Another fan asked Richards how she was holding up to which she replied, "All is good."

Richards' ex-husband Monty Brinson, who supported Richards during her battle to stay sober, posted a then-and-now photo of the reality star followed with some encouraging words.

"Things change and friends leave. Life doesn't stop for anybody," he wrote. "You can't stop the future, you can't rewind the past the only way to learn is to press play. If people refuse to look at you in a new light and they can only see you for what you were, only see you for the mistakes you've made, if they don't realize that you are not your mistakes, then they have to go. Some changes look negative on the surface, but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge. I'm proud of you my friend, you still have the same heart from the day we met. Always love Monty."

The "Housewife" had little Twitter activity since getting arrested in August for shoplifting from a Target department store in San Fernando Valley, Calif, Us Weekly reported.

At the time, she was suspected of walking out of the store with close to $600 worth of items in her cart. She later arrested before being released on $5,000 bail. Prior to her arrest, TMZ reported that the reality was living out her car because she ran out of friends and family member

In April, the reality star was charged with battery on a police officer, public intoxication and resisting arrest after a getting arrested at a Beverly Hills hotel. Hotel security and police officers, who were reportedly responding to a fight, described Richards as acting belligerent with slurred speech and reeking of alcohol.

After her arrest, Richards voluntarily entered a rehab facility in Malibu, Calif.
