Detroit Tigers Vs. Oakland Athletics Live Radio Broadcast: MLB 2014 (LISTEN)

The Detroit Tigers play the Oakland Athletics on Thursday in Game 4 of their series. The game starts at 3:35 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast below.

Detroit can split the four-game series with a win on Thursday. They've alternated wins so far after Oakland's 3-1 win on Wednesday. Athletics third baseman Josh Donaldson won the game with his walk-off three-run homer in the ninth, breaking a deadlock 1-1 tie.

"We all know he can do that," Athletics catcher John Jaso told the team website, via the Associated Press. "Big situations, he doesn't clam up or anything. He wants those."

Tigers starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez kept Oakland scoreless through eight innings, and Athletics starting pitcher Scott Kazmir gave up only one run after pitching his first complete game in nearly eight years.

"As a fan that was a fun game to watch right there. It was," Kazmir told the Associated Press. "Throughout the whole game Anibal and I were just battling it out, out for out. We ended up getting a couple of baserunners up in the ninth and Donaldson comes up. You just kind of had that feeling when he came up to be honest with you. He saw that first pitch and didn't miss it. It was awesome."

Athletics pitcher Jesse Chavez (4-2, 2.61 ERA) starts on Thursday. He's coming off Saturday's 5-2 loss against the Toronto Blue Jays, in which he gave up two earned runs through 5 1/3 pitched innings. He's also given up five homers in his last three starts, according to the Associated Press.

Rick Porcello (6-2, 3.88) is scheduled to oppose Chavez. He gave up eight earned runs through just over five innings in Saturday's 12-2 blowout loss against the Texas Rangers.
