According to Euro News, American automotive company Alef Aeronautics unveiled its new flying car model during the Mobile World Congress. Alef CTO Constatine Kisly said that the new vehicle is just like the flying cars people see in science fiction movies. What's weird about this technology is that it doesn't have wings. Instead, Alef integrated some propelers beneath it so that it could fly.

Aside from a flying car with no wings and a bendy smartphone, another weird technology was introduced at the MWC 2024. This is the new translucent laptop screen of Lenovo. The Chinese-American electronics giant showed off its new ThinkBook called "Project Crystal," which has a translucent screen. Lenovo achieved this by sandwiching an array of micro LEDs between clear glass. What's amazing about this new gadget is that the transparent panel can reach up to 1,000 nits of brightness.

Another weird technology at MWC 2024 is a creepy ChatGPT-powered doll developed by South Korean firm Hyodol. This doll has numerous touch-sensitive patches and buttons, which people can use to get certain responses.
