A 17-year-old Florida boy was arrested after allegedly shooting at his ex-girlfriend during the Sant'Yago Knight Parade in Ybor City on Saturday, WTSP-TV reported.
According to police, the boy pulled out his gun after he got in a fight with the girl. Though he tried to shoot her, the bullet ending up striking a third person.
The victim was rushed to Tampa General Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Authorities arrested the suspect at his home and it is unknown what charges he will face.
The names of the suspect and victim have not been released.
The Sant'Yago Knight Parade is part of the annual Gasparilla Pirate Festival, which celebrates the legend of Jose Gasparilla and raises money for various charities.
