The Apple of Everyone's Eyes

Apple has started to market its initial MacBook with M1 and the laptop world has turned on its head. Its most popular computers to date, the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro have this innovative processor, M1, and it's got Apple fans and enthusiasts alike curious. Its no wonder that people are skeptical too, as when Apple comes out with something new, there's a lot to talk about. Without even looking at the new M1 chip, the surrounding hype has taken the Apple stock up since it was announced. The claims made by Apple itself are that the battery life will significantly improve and performance with it. These were similar tall claims made by Microsoft and Qualcomm which powered laptops that were Arm-based.

Apple Delivers

In the case of Apple, whether it's their phones or laptops, the company never fails to deliver. The new M1 processors, besides saving Apple tons of cash by not having to depend on Intel for chips anymore, put Intel to shame in almost all aspects. This isn't just the case with ground-level versions of Intel comparisons. M1 is far better when you compare it with the most powerful chip of Intel, the i9. M1 is great for compiling code, and is a hare in speed to Intel's slower tortoise. Developers will have a field day with MacBooks equipped with M1. The questions are not about how Apple will prove itself with its new M1, but about how the competition - Qualcomm, AMD, and Intel - will react.

Why Apple will Excel

AMD, Intel and Qualcomm have been trying to compete for years in a kind of match, in which all three companies go back and forth with improvements. These leading processor makers are perennially trying to improve battery life, graphics and overall chip performance. Where Apple is concerned, there is no question of any competition for the giant, as it plays the device game on a totally different field. The success that Apple has seen with its iPhone and iPad will now be seen with its Mac computers. Apple computers count on the way the hardware and software work together to provide users with top-notch performance. It is the interplay between hardware and software that is the key to Apple's great reputation. Yeah, Apple's M1 MacBook Pro is powerful, but it's the battery life that will blow you away

M1 is User-friendly

Competitors may argue that Apple's new M1 is fine and dandy, but laptops will still be expensive. This may be so, but people are willing to pay a price if they get optimal value. This is what Apple counts on for sales. On the basis of high demand for MacBooks with M1, Apple stock is seeing a gradual rise as we speak. Experts have forecasted even more of an upswing as more computers sell and users actually benefit from use.

Not only is Apple's hardware more rapid, but M1 has the ability to manage fundamental app tasks of macOS up to 5 times faster than it did with the Intel processor. Apple designed the chip to specifically work on these tasks faster. That's the logical reason M1 MacBooks are able to function on more tasks with relatively low RAM. Apple's iPhones and iPads are designed this way too.

Competitor's Scary Scenario

The scenario seems scary for competitors of Apple, but exciting for Apple. Why scary? Well, not because this new kid, M1, shows great promise, but its just the beginning. Apple claims that the M1 processor is the groundwork for bigger things.  With the M1, Apple has created the first generation of its in-house processors. The M1 was made to replace the processors in the weakest and cheapest Apple computers. Consider what the company will achieve as it aims to scale higher and replace the conventional processors in its flagship computers. Right now, it can only be presumed that competitors will at least try to come to speed.

Currently, stalwarts like Microsoft, design their own laptops - Surface. Microsoft has also worked with Qualcomm to manufacture SQ1 and SQ2 Arm-based chips for its Pro X models of Surface laptops. Yet, it's far from the hold that Apple has on software technology and the technique that it uses to blend with its hardware.

Prices

Even though programmers may still depend on the ultra GPU-intensive MacBook Pro for its maxed-out features, the M1 comes at a lower price. It offers stiff competition to Intel-powered laptops within the Apple domain, offering twice the battery life. Running at a quieter and cooler pace, M1 laptops are lighter and smaller. Some web developers may find them apt too. With a dedicated "neural engine" in its M1 chip, machine learning code is bound to run at a swifter degree than ever before. Photo and video editing becomes snappy and Artificial Intelligence aids in gaming. Nasdaq sources surmise that Apple stock will reach higher heights and gains will be seen sooner than you think. This, added to Apple's last quarter sales report saying that it sold over $9 billion Macs due to the pandemic, projects Apple's rise to unprecedented levels.
