India entered the final of continental tournament after defeating Sri Lanka by five wickets Tuesday night. Batting first, the Sri Lankans had managed to score a modest total of 138. The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side comfortably chased down the target with four balls remaining. India also defeated the United Arab Emirates by nine wickets in its last match of the main rounds on Thursday.

Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said that he is expecting tough competition from the host in the final. "We will have to come up with another big performance in the final. Bangladesh are a good team and they have improved a lot. It should be a good final," Dhoni said.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, stormed into the Asia Cup final after beating Pakistan Wednesday night. Batting first, Pakistan had managed to score just 129 in 20 overs. The Tigers chased down the modest target with five wickets and five balls in hand.

Bangladeshi pace bowler Taskin Ahmed believes that his side has all capabilities to lift the trophy.

"Look we have been preparing for the Asia Cup from two months before the start of the tournament and we played the last two matches quite well. All these aspects have increased our confidence. We are growing in strength with each game. If we can play our best, then I am sure it will be a good final for us," Taskin said.
