Four People Found Dead in Arlington, Massachusetts Home: Cause of Deaths Still Unknown, Police Await Autopsy Results

The bodies of two adults and two infants have been sent to medical examiners in Arlington, Mass. for autopsies after authorities found their remains in their home outside of Boston.

Scott Jones and his wife Mei Kum were discovered dead with their two twin sons Colt and Cameron in their house in Arlington after police were called to there to check on the residents' welfare just after 12 p.m. on Monday.

Both of the parents were 43 years old, and the children's first birthdays were coming next week, the Associated Press reported..

Spokesperson for Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said on Tuesday that the authorities weren't currently searching for suspects, and that the deaths appeared to be separate events.

Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death for each of the victims.

After initial investigations, police said they were not sure whether there was foul play involved.

Mei Kum Jones' brother told WBZ-TV that Scott and his sister were in the throes of a "nasty divorce."

Police first responded to calls from the family's au pair, who said she couldn't get into the house when she was scheduled to be there.

74-year-old neighbor Amy Ianelli was one of the group of bystanders who gathered outside of the Jones home on Monday. She described the Arlington area as "a great neighborhood," and said she was stunned to find out that the family had such serious issues.

"I am heartsick to think that kids..." she told the Boston Globe before trailing off. "It's heartbreaking."
