Warning: The following contains spoilers for "Ant-Man."

For those of you that saw Marvel's "Ant-Man" over the weekend, you probably noticed Evangeline Lily's character Hope van Dyne nagging her father, Dr. Hank Pym, to let her wear the super powered costume through most of the film. Although that duty fell to Paul Rudd's Scott Lang, the film's mid-credits scene revealed that Pym had long been prepping a different suit for his daughter.

Does that mean that Lily will debut the Wasp alter-ego in next year's "Captain America: Civil War?" Probably not, according to Marvel President Kevin Feige.

"Civil War has a lot of things going on it, and it feels like with Ant-Man, we just saw all of his things," Feige said via Cinema Blend. "It's going to be fun to see Hope for the first time, put that suit on and go out with Scott. We didn't want it to become just a moment amongst moments. So whether we actually get to see it in a standalone Ant-Man film, or as a larger part of a future film, we're still figuring that out."

The reason for the uncertainty surrounding Wasp was revealed by none other than Lily herself. She told Cinema Blend that there was a roadmap for Wasp's true introduction into the MCU, but that the plan changed last minute and is currently being revised.

"There was an original plan and it got scrapped...I can't tell you. And now we're refabricating plans and they're still up in the air. We still don't know."

So to recap: Marvel fans should expect the introduction of Wasp eventually, just not in "Captain America: Civil War." Perhaps that means she'll debut in a future "Ant-Man" sequel or maybe in Part I of the "Avengers: Infinity Wars" series. Who knows?

"Captain America: Civil War" will hit theaters on May 6 of next year.
