Rapper 50 Cent and Lucasfilm have teamed up to release "Star Wars" inspired SMS Audio headphones.

The headphones are based on Curtis Jackon's (50's real name) existing Street design, according to Engagedet.  The line will include headphones inspired by Stormtroopers, Rebel Alliance, Boba Fett and Imperial editions.  The limited edition Star Wars STREET by 50 On-Ear Wired headphones will be available for purchase in Spring 2014 for $199.95 on SMSAudio.com.

"I've been a fan of Star Wars since I was a kid, so working with Lucasfilm to create this line of headphones was a really cool experience," said 50 Cent, CEO of SMS Audio, in a news release. "Star Wars has a huge following of dedicated fans and I'm excited to welcome them into the SMS Audio family."

In other "Star Wars" news, Lucasfilm and Marvel announced they would be taking over the franchises' comics and graphic novel series.  Beginning in 2015, Marvel will be creating new comics and graphic novel for fans, taking over for Dark Horse Comics, who have been publishing the works for the past 20 years.

"Dark Horse Comics published exceptional Star Wars comics for over 20 years, and we will always be grateful for their enormous contributions to the mythos, and the terrific partnership that we had," Carol Roeder, director of Lucasfilm franchise publishing, Disney Publishing Worldwide, said in a statment. "In 2015, the cosmic adventures of Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca will make the lightspeed jump back to Marvel, to begin a new age of adventures within the Star Wars universe."

"We here at Marvel could not be more excited to continue the publication of Star Wars comic books and graphic novels," Marvel worldwide publisher and president Dan Buckley said in a statement. "The perennial brand of Star Wars is one of the most iconic in entertainment history and we are honored to have the opportunity to bring our creative talent pool to continue, and expand Star Wars into galaxies far, far away."

**Editor's note: The article previously stated the headphones are priced at $179.95, which is incorrect.  The correct price is $199.95.
