Janet Jackson made her first public appearance on Wednesday since undergoing surgery for an unknown illness that forced her to postpone her "Unbreakable" tour, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The "Rhythm Nation" singer was spotted in London with her husband, Wissam Al Mana, as the couple walked out of an art gallery holding each other's hands.

In December, Jackson announced that she was postponing a series of shows after doctors told her she had order to undergo an urgent surgery, as HNGN previously reported. The announcement sparked speculation that she was suffering from cancer, but Jackson denied the rumors with a Twitter post.

Jackson rescheduled the "Unbreakable World Tour" dates, with the European leg of the tour slated to kick off on March 30 in Birmingham, England. Jackson's shows in North America, originally scheduled to take place between January and March, will now take place in May, according to E!.

The new dates might be more than a month away but Jackson is already gearing up to resume the tour. "Hey you guys, I am preparing for my tour in Europe," she tweeted on Tuesday. "Can't wait to see you! #Unbreakable."
