On Christmas Eve, Janet Jackson announced that she would be postponing her "Unbreakable World Tour" by a few months so she could undergo a necessary surgery, but she has now revealed that the dates for the North American leg have been rescheduled.

The tour, which was originally supposed to begin on Jan. 12, will kick off on May 14 in Las Vegas with the postponed Tucson, Ariz., show happening on May 23, according to Rolling Stone. The rest of the rescheduled dates will then begin on July 1 in Denver and run through Aug. 28.

Jackson, 49, is set to perform the rest of the tour as planned, with the European leg starting on March 30 in Birmingham, England. Tickets for the original U.S. dates will be honored at the rescheduled shows.

"Hey you guys, I'm happy to let you know all the shows have been rescheduled," she tweeted on Thursday, along with a link to the new tour dates. "I can't wait to see you! Xoxo."

While she never revealed exactly what the surgery was for, she did take to Twitter to shut down rumors earlier this month that she was suffering from cancer, as HNGN previously reported. People began to think that she was suffering from throat cancer since she had postponed her tour.

"Remember...believe it when you hear it from my lips," she wrote. "The rumors are untrue. I do not have cancer. I'm recovering." She went on to explain in a personal video message that her doctors have given her the OK on beginning the tour again.
