Montel Williams is hopping on the backlash-against-Josh Duggar wagon.

The host of "The Montel Williams Show" went on a Twitter rant about the 27-year-old "19 Kids and Counting" star after reports suffered that Duggar was accused of child molestation as teenager. Despite Duggar apologizing for his "inexcusable" behavior, Williams isn't happy with the reality star.

In several posts, Williams called Josh a "bigot" and "slimebag" and bashed the reality star for speaking out against LGBT people. The radio talk show host also criticized Duggar for his "alleged Christian" values and called the Family Research Council, which Duggar resigned from after the sexual controversy, a scam.

"BREAKING: Josh Duggar, a world-class bigot, admits sexually abusing young girls - has consistently stated that LGBT folks [are] danger to kids," Williams tweeted. "Gosh, yet another anti-gay alleged "Christian" defender turns out to be a garden variety scumbag."

He continued, "Sorry, Josh Duggar is a bigot, slime bag. Whole family is, and [Family Research Council] is a scam. Yup, Gay people are the danger to kids? NOPE, JOSH DUGGAR IS."

After receiving backlash from social media users about his comments on the Duggars, Williams went back on Twitter to clarify his previous response, writing, "My point wasn't so much to react to allegation itself, it was reacting to the hypocrisy of claiming #lgbt dangerous to kids with his history."

Williams further explained his comments on Josh and the Family Research Council in a lengthy post on Facebook, writing, "Josh chose his path - he chose to work for a bigot - Tony Perkins and his organization. He chose to make bigoted comments about ‪#‎lgbt individuals being dangers to kids - he chose to do ALL OF THOSE THINGS while hiding the fact his father had essentially covered up Josh having, by his own admission, molested his sisters as a teenager. So yes, that renders him a bigot, and yes, it is appropriate to call him a hypocrite, and yes, a scumbag."

He continued by saying that Duggar is a danger to kids and calls it a trend that "happens with those who are extreme in their anti-gay bigotry." Adding, "That he did this while preaching about Christian values makes me wonder if he has read the Gospel. If he did, he has a reading comprehension problem."
