NBA 2K14 Feature Rumors: A Recap of What To Expect

LeBron James’ soundtrack is the latest feature announced for “NBA 2K14.” We are still waiting for gameplay videos and the release of more new in-game features. However, we’ve still gotten some information on what to expect this year.

Let’s recap:

Bazemoreing – The NBA 2K team brought in Warriors sophomore guard Kent Bazemore to provide some authentic celebrations. While hooked up to motion capture technology, Bazemore reacted as if someone on his team knocked down a huge three or posterized a defender.

NCAA Dunk Champion – University of Detroit guard Doug Anderson has donated some of his dunks to “NBA 2K14.” Anderson won the 2014 NCAA Dunk Contest with some high quality slams including a through-the-legs 360 dunk and a double clutch reverse. That type of athleticism and dunking ability is perfect for a video game.

Euroleague Teams – This year’s game will include 14 Euroleague teams. Among the foreign squads will be Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Alba Berlin.

Community Team-Up – 2K Sports has brought back Community Team-Up for “NBA 2K14.” “NBA 2K” experts such as Ronnie 2K, LD2K, IpodKingCarter and SubTheGamer will get to play the game before its released and report back to fans.

Pre-Order Special – If you pre-order the game now you will receive the King James Bonus Pack. The bonus pack includes:

-More Content for the “Path to Greatness” Mode

-LeBron James is unlocked in Blacktop Mode

-The LeBron James Signature Skill

-10,000 in Virtual Currency

Sountrack – The LeBron James-compiled soundtrack will feature music by a variety of artists from Drake to Phil Collins.

As the summer progresses we expect to get more in-depth details on the game. “NBA 2K14” will hit stores for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4 on October 1. The game will be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.
