Skye underwent a major transformation in the winter finale of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," but she will need guidance in fully understanding her new power.

"S.H.I.E.L.D." has cast Luke Mitchell as an Inhuman named Lincoln to help her realize the true potential of her transformation. Mitchell will join the ABC series when season two continues in March.

"With the revelations surrounding Skye's true identity in the Winter Finale, we knew we'd be introducing more Inhumans as our story progressed," Jeph Loeb, executive producer and Marvel's Head of Marvel Television, told Marvel.com. "The charming energy Luke brings to the role will make him a character to watch as we continue our season."

The 29-year-old Aussie actor joins big name guest stars in the back half of season two. "Battlestar Galactica" alum Edward James Olmos will recur in an unnamed role and Blair Underwood will appear as Agent May's (Ming-Na Wen) estranged ex-husband.

Mitchell starred on the short-lived CW series, "The Tomorrow People." He previously starred on Australian series "Home and Away," "H20: Just Add Water," and "Neighbours."

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns on Tuesday, March 6 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
