Businessman and Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend Scott Disick was cast to recreate the movie "American Psycho" for Kanye West's promotional video according to Us Weekly.
The video was created to promote West's highly anticipated album, "Yeezus". The father-of-two is seen taking on the role of serial killer Patrick Bateman as he discusses the artist wonders of West's career. Jonathan Cheban, Kim Kardashian's best friend, played Disick's victim.
The clips shows the two in an all-white furnished apartment and a chipper Diskick entertaining an intoxicated Cheban.
"Hey, do you like Kanye West?" Disick asked Cheban. "The early work was a little too hip-hop for me and my taste, but when "Dark Twister Fantasy" came out in 2010, I think he really came into his own both musically and lyrically."
Disick begins playing the album for Cheban beginning with the first single release "New Slaves." He also takes on the controversy behind the albums religious references.
"There's the song 'I'm A God'. The title practically speaks for itself, but of course the insecurities of the mainstream music press will never understand its true meaning because it's about me!" said Disick.
Cheban is violently struck multiple times with an axe as the melodies of "New Slaves" plays in the background.
According to the New York Daily News, West's "Yeezus" album is the rappers fifth studio album. The boyfriend to Kim Kardashian reportedly missed a listening party for the album because Kardashian went into labor and later gave birth to the couple's first child.
The delivery included speculation that the premature labor was a result of medical complications but both mother and child were in good health. The couple have been very verbal in reference to sheltering the child from the media.
"I just don't want to talk to America about my family," West said in an interview with The New York Times. "Like, this is my baby. This isn't America's baby."
