Last week, a rep for Emily Deschanel confirmed to E! Online that the actress and her husband David Hornsby are expecting their second child together. While this is definitely exciting news, fans are now wondering if the creators of "Bones" will write the pregnancy into the show.

On Dec. 8 at Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood to celebrate the show's 200th episode, Deschanel dished on the upcoming episodes and confirmed that producers are planning on writing her pregnancy into the storyline.

"Yeah, they are writing it in, I think pretty soon. I don't know the exact episode," she told HNGN and other reporters at the event.

"I won't be hiding behind a microscope and you just see my nose and from there up," Deschanel added. "No, and I'm so glad. We didn't hide it last time and we wrote it in, thank God. It's just easier that way."

Deschanel's character Brennan welcomed her first child with Booth (played by David Boreanaz) in Season 7 when the actress was expecting her first child. In the 200th episode, which will pay homage to Alfred Hitchcock, Deschanel's character will be an LAPD detective and Booth will be a jewelry thief.

"We're examining the beginnings of Booth and Brennan in another situation. Their jobs might be different, but their characters are the same to a large extent," executive producer Stephen Nathan previously told TV Line.

The episode will include a few guest appearances including Andrew Leeds, Michael Grant Terry, Eugene Byrd, Pej Vahdat and Michael Badalucco, who will play Brennan's former assistant Scott.

The 200th episode of "Bones" airs Dec. 11 on Fox.
