The Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans reportedly are interested in Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer, who can become a free agent in 2015.  ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Hoyer's familiarity with the head coaches of both Houston and Tennessee makes both teams potential destinations in March.

Cleveland is 6-4 and has a very real chance of earning a playoff berth.  Despite the team's winning record, the Browns appear uncertain as to whether they want to bring Hoyer back after the season.  If Hoyer does make it to free agency, he'll reportedly have at least two serious suitors.

Per ESPN:

"But Sundays game against the Houston Texans and coach Bill O'Brien is also something of an audition.  Hoyer and O'Brien worked together in the past and they have an interest in doing the same in the future, league sources said.  Hoyer trusts O'Brien as much as any coach in the league from their time together in New England, sources said, and he would welcome a reunion.

"O'Brien is not the only AFC South coach who has worked with Hoyer and has an interest.  Tennessee Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt, who worked with Hoyer in Arizona, also does, sources said."

Hoyer, who tore his ACL last year, has been a solid under center all year to the tune of 2,212 yards, 10 touchdowns and four interceptions.  The biggest roadblock to Hoyer re-signing with Cleveland is first-round rookie pick Johnny Manziel, who some consider to be the future of the franchise.

New England landed Hoyer as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State in 2009.  He backed up Tom Brady until August 2012, when he was released.  He then bounced around from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Cardinals, ultimately being cut by each team.

He signed a two-year deal with Cleveland in May 2013.
