A few “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” cast members were spotted at the “Smallville” cemetery in Yorkville, Ill.

According to Batman-News, photographer Gregory Zonsius sent photos and video clips of the actors on set. Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Amy Adams (Lois Lane) were reportedly spotted on set.

It’s unclear why the cast was filming at the “Smallville” cemetery, but some outlets are speculating the characters are paying respects to Clark Kent’s father. Check out the set images here or watch the videos below for a small peek at the set.

The “Batman vs. Superman” production recently wrapped filming in Detroit, Mich. Director Zack Snyder spoke to WXYZ Detroit about moving the production to Chicago, but also took a moment to thank local residents and businesses for allowing the production to film in the area for close to a year.

“For us, it’s been a perfect location because we have Gotham City. I know there’s an effort to clean up the blight here in Detroit, but for us it’s been awesome because we’ve used it,” Snyder said.

Luckily for DC fans in Detroit, the “Batman vs. Superman” director has grown fond of the city and wants to continue the “Justice League” saga in the area.

Snyder explained Detroit has set the backdrops for Gotham and Metropolis, and the production has been able to work without worrying about too many spoilers leaking online.

“We just want the movie to be surprising when it comes out. We do a lot of crazy stuff in the movie so I wouldn’t want you to get short-changed by the Internet, which loves to do that, “ Snyder said.

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
