Friday is the last day of pre-trial hearings before the murder trial for George Zimmerman begins next week. Zimmerman is being charged with the second degree murder for the killing of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin last year.
For a second day in a row Judge Debra Nelson will be listening to testimony to decide if voice verification experts will be allowed to testify during the murder trial, according to CBS News.
Voices can be heard screaming for help in the background of the 911 calls made by neighbors during the altercation between Martin and Zimmerman. A key piece of evidence for the state is the testimony of an expert who claims he can hear Martin screaming and begging for his life on one of the calls, according to CBS News.
Zimmerman's father disagrees and believes that the voice on the tapes is that of his son. On Thursday, an FBI expert testified that he didn't believe a positive identification of who the voice in the background of the call belonged to could be made, according to CBS News.
