'Transformers 4' Autobots Released: Begins Production This Summer (PHOTOS)

A new round of Autobots have been unveiled to the adoring car transforming public, according to MTV.

The fourth installment in the "Transformers" series has been announced, despite rumors that the 2011 "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," would be the last in the series Shooting for the new film will begin this summer, MTV reported. But Paramount pictures has released new photos and details of the new round of cars to cause trouble on the big screen.

A 1,200-horsepower Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse and a C7 Corvette Stingray will be added to the "Transformers" fleet. The "Transformers'" website teases a June 2014 release date. Yahoo! Movies is giving a sneak peak at the new rides on their site.

Director Michael Bay spoke to the Los Angeles Times about the new movie and new cast of characters. While the human actors will be different, Megan Fox not returning for the last installment, some of the metal characters will make a comeback, including Optimus Prime.

"It's a new cast," Bay told the LA Times. "We've moving on to something different."

Mark Walhberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammar, Sophia Myles and T.J. Miller are among rumored cast for the new film, according to MTV.

Shia LeBeouf is among former cast members who will not return. The live action film franchise based on the toy creations, "Transformers" is directed by Bay and was produced by Steven Spielberg.

A new Universal Studios Hollywood attraction based on the franchise recently opened. The section of the park features a $100 million digital ride, Transformers: The Ride - 3D, The LA Times reports.
