Red Carpet Prankster Vitalii Sediuk Apologizes For Stunts, 'I’m Changing My Life' (VIDEO)

Even pranksters can change their ways.

Notorious red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk has turned over a new leaf. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, released on Tuesday, the former Ukrainian TV journalist is apologizing to his celebrity victims. Sediuk thanked Hollywood for putting up with his antics and later mentioned plans to leave the United States to pursue a career as a model in London.

"Basically, I'm changing my life," Sediuk told THR. "I would like to thank Hollywood for having me this two years and a half. It was an experience that taught me a lot in life. Most importantly, I would like to say sorry for celebrities that had to deal with my stunts and thank them for being tolerant to me all this time."

The 25-year-old former journalist said many of his pranks were meant to be funny but have often been misunderstood by the media.

"The motivation behind all my pranks was always positive even when some of them went wrong and were not understood by the public," he told THR. "I came to the decision to move overseas, but there's some part of me that will stay in this city. I know you will not miss me."

Sediuk recently made headlines for trying to touch actor Brad Pitt during "Maleficent" premiere. In May, Sediuk was sentenced to 20 days of community service and ordered him to stay 500 yards away from all award shows, entertainment events and red carpets. He placed on 36 months of probation.

Sediuk has approached several stars on the red carpet including Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Smith. Earlier, this year the Ukranian prankster attempted to put his head up America Ferreira's dress, but told the news outlet that he actually mistook her for Cate Blanchett.
