"Full House" star Candance Cameron Bure (D.J) is unimpressed by the title of Kanye West's anticipated album, according to Radar Online. It has been announced the album will be called "Yeezus" and hits stores June 18.
West had the world in awe when he debuted his new single "New Slaves" in a video projected on buildings world wide.
Bure is a devote Christian and told Sway on the radio show "Sway in the Morning" exactly how she felt about West putting himself on the same pedestal as Jesus.
"He's actually comparing himself to Jesus," she said. "Really?! Should any of us be doing that?! Maybe you should change your name to Uda!"
Bure credits her disapproval for West's album to his inability to being humble.
"I think it's more, it comes from a humility point of view," she said. "I would be humbled enough for what Jesus did for me that I don't want to in any way elevate myself or put myself side by side because I'm humbled by his gratitude."
West isn't the only artist being bashed by Bure for his religious content. Long time friend of West and hip-hop mogul Jay-Z was also mentioned in her fight for Christ.
"HOVA for Jehova is also way too close. It bugs me. It totally bugs me," Bure said.
It seems the Chicago father-to-be can not escape controversy. West has made headlines for his relationship with reality star Kim Kardashian and his absence during her pregnancy. He also received backlash for retaliating against the paparazzi after hitting his head on a traffic post trying to avoid the camera's.
West has made numerous controversial songs and speeches that have not only led to public bash, but has inspired the artist to remain true to himself and true to his art. West never apologizes for his views and tries to distance himself from his celebrity.
