Robin Uthappa earned the Man of the Match award after scoring a game-high 67 runs. Shakib Al Hasan added 46 runs (not out), and Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine and Piyush Chawla all took one wicket apiece.
"We have quality spinners in the ranks, irrespective of the pitch on which they perform, and I want to mention Umesh (Yadav) and Cummins as well, they don't get mentioned as often as they should," skipper Gautam Gambhir said, via CricBuzz.com.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore, meanwhile, are No. 6 in the standings with a 5-7 record. They had their two-game winning streak ended on Tuesday in a seven-wicket loss to Hyderabad. Skipper Virat Kohli led the team with 67 runs, and AB de Villiers added 29 runs. On the bowling front, Varun Aaron took all of the team's only two wickets.
