Chris Brown was arrested after being kicked out of rehab on Friday, Mar. 14. The singer's attorney appeared in court to see if he could be released, but a judge denied the request saying that Brown would remain behind bars for at least a month.

Even though he has only been in jail for a few days, a report by Hollywood Life claims that the "Love More" singer is in really bad shape and has stopped eating and sleeping. A source told the site that Brown might even be depressed.

The 24-year-old was placed in solitary confinement - to protect him from other inmates - at the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles.

"It's bad, all bad for Chris," the source told Hollywood Life. "He's not doing well at all. He's not eating, not sleeping, and he's out of his mind."

"He talks to himself. He's tired and frustrated and feels like he's trapped like a small hamster in a cage," the source added.

The source went on to say that Brown is only given "water and watered-down orange juice" and fed "peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on bread with some five-year-old baloney." According to the site, he refuses to eat the food.

"Chris is suffering. He's going crazy," the source said. "He has been stripped of everything. He doesn't even have underwear on. He's got nothing and no one."

While Brown's living conditions in jail is probably a far cry from the luxury lifestyle he's used to, E! News is painting a very different picture from the Hollywood Life's story. According to E!, a spokesperson from the jail told them that Brown's cell consists of a bed frame and nothing else but as far as food, the inmates are fed things like spaghetti and meatballs, peas, carrots and a salad.

The spokesperson also said the menu changes daily. Brown will remain in jail until a jury decides if he violated his probation by allegedly beating up a man outside the W Hotel in Washington D.C. The trial is set for Apr. 17 and is expected to last a few days.
