In celebration of this year's Mario Day, or MAR10 DAY, Nintendo and LEGO have announced a new partnership that will include the Mario Kart line of products.

It is official: LEGO is launching a new Mario Kart series. The most recent product from LEGO's partnership with Nintendo was unveiled during a rather short YouTube video. A new set of kits centered on Mario and its Grand Prix adventures will be available in 2025.

Based on the announcement, these new sets seem to focus on incorporating some new vehicles into the existing Mario motif. However, 9to5Toys thinks this could be simply a traditional Nintendo trick.

In terms of what was shown recently, there were many brand-new items. The three primary ones are the biggest LEGO Mario 2024 wave kits: Bowser's Train, King Boo's Haunted Mansion, and Peach's Castle. These expansion kits, which will be available for purchase in the summer of this year, add some very cool models to LEGO's electronic figure lineup, which has been steadily growing over the previous several years.

The Bowser Express Train set, based on the character's in-game locomotive, includes a vehicle in the rear, two carriages, and two train stops, each symbolizing Bowser's Castle and the Mushroom Kingdom. Just as in the games, Lego Mario hops onto a handcart and is shot out of a cannon to get on the train.

In King Boo's Haunted Mansion, Lego Luigi battles monsters around the mansion to unlock a treasure chest. As a last point, the Battle with Roy set has Lego Peach defending her castle with Lego Mario and Lego Toad against the Koopaling and his Chain Chomp Chariot.
