The latest Nintendo Direct showcased a plethora of new games coming to the Switch as well as revealed some Xbox-exclusives that will be available on the handheld console later this year.

A Nintendo Switch game, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, was announced to be released in Summer 2024. The game sees characters working to defeat and teaming up with deadly homunculi in an effort to rescue a devastated world

For puzzle lovers, Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure, will also be released in the summer of this year. The game, set in an interconnected puzzle world, will give players the chance to navigate on a grid where everything moves when they do. They will be tasked with taking down monsters, helping townsfolk, and solving puzzles along the way, as per Game Informer.

Another popular franchise, Monster Hunter Stories, will have its latest game released on the Nintendo Switch this year. The original 3DS game was first introduced in 2017 and was a spinoff of the popular Monster Hunter title. On top of adding HD visuals, the port includes new voiceovers, a museum mode, as well as additional content that was previously only available in Japan.

Fan-favorite Mickey Mouse will be making an entry into the Nintendo Switch console with Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. This is a touched-up version of 2011's Epic Mickey and is considered an enhanced remake that features updated graphics, new skills for the loveable mouse, and other improvements.

On top of these fan-favorite games and popular titles, the latest Nintendo Direct also showcases new ports, some indie titles, and highly anticipated games such as Unicorn Overlord. Another major announcement that was not seen in the American Nintendo Direct is that Mother 3 is finally coming to the Switch.

Anime fans also have something to look forward to in the latest announcement due to the release of Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream. In this game, players return to a distorted version of the world of SAO because something has gone terribly wrong.

You will be given the opportunity to pick from various combat roles, customize your character, and take on quests alongside your friend. Additionally, some of the game's new raids look especially challenging as some dungeons feature powerful foes in 20-person events.
