But why is the tech billionaire so proud of not going to any therapy?

Elon Musk Boasts Not Needing Therapy

According to Gizmodo's latest report, Elon Musk surprised his fans on Wednesday, Feb. 28, by posting about not going to therapy in his entire life.

"Put 'Never Went to Therapy' on my gravestone," said Elon Musk via his official X post.

He just posted this out of the blue. This is not the first time that the billionaire boasted about not going to therapy.

One instance was when X user The Rabbit Hole shared a graph showing how many white and non-white individuals were told by doctors that they have mental health illnesses.

The graph from the Pew Research Center focused on individuals based on their political ideology. The majority of people who were very liberal, liberal, and neutral were whites.

Meanwhile, the majority of conservatives and very conservatives who have mental health conditions were non-whites. After seeing these details, Elon Musk replied to The Rabbit Hole's X post.

"'Never went to therapy.' Please put that on my gravestone," said the tech executive.

He didn't actually explain why he's proud about this. But, there were times when Elon Musk shared that he struggled with mental health issues.

In 2023, some unnamed sources claimed that Elon Musk was taking psychedelic drug ketamine, hinting that the billionaire is suffering from mental health issues.

After the controversial report was released, the tech executive confirmed that he's really taking ketamine. However, he clarified that he's using it occasionally.

He stated unlike traditional medication for depression, ketamine is a better option based on what his friends told him. This statement already shows that Elon could be experiencing depression.

Aside from this, he also described his mind as "a storm." He shared this in a podcast interview with Lex Fridman.
