A pre-recorded interview of Vladimir Putin was even aired after reports about the Wagner assault spread.

In his interview, the Russian leader talked about stepping up efforts in Ukraine.
"We feel confident, and, of course, we are in a position to implement all the plans and tasks ahead of us," said Putin via Reuters

"This also applies to the country's defense, it applies to the special military operation, it applies to the economy as a whole and its individual areas," he added.

Despite his aired interview, numerous sources were still able to acquire information about the attack of the Wagner Group against Russian troops.

39 Russian Pilots Dead

Based on numerous reports, the Wagner attack led to the death of 39 Russian pilots and crew.

Some of these airmen are believed to be Russia's leading air force crew members.

The Wagner PMC assault against the Russian military also destroyed six helicopters.

These include three Mi-8 MTPRs, which are specialized in electronic warfare, as well as a sophisticated Il-22 aircraft, which is used for battle planning at altitude.

Although Wagner Group's attack is very serious, the potential bloodbath between the Russian military and the mercenary group was avoided since Prigozhin halted their march on Moscow.

However, some Russian analysts said that the Wagner attack killed 39 Russian pilots and took down six helicopters took a great tool for Putin. This just shows how the deadly assults of the mercenargy organization drastically affect Vladimir's reputation.
