As the trial continues, Johnny Depp believes his ex-wife had an affair with James Franco while Alec Baldwin's daughter speaks in defense of the actor.

Following two days of evidence in his $50 million defamation case against his ex-wife, lawyers for Amber Heard cross-examined Johnny Depp for a full day on Thursday.

The trial is currently postponed and will continue for three weeks on Monday in Fairfax County, Virginia. Her hearing has been sued by Johnny Depp for suggesting that Depp had abused her in a 2018 operation.

Depp: Heard Had an Affair With Franco

Even though she did not identify him, he alleges that her accusations have made it impossible for him to get film jobs, transforming him from 'Cinderella to Quasimodo' in Hollywood. The actor opened up about his traumatic childhood with an abusive mother and said his relationship with Amber Heard reflected that and described her as bullying him.

Amber Heard's attorneys confronted him on Thursday regarding obscene text messages he sent about her, as well as his drug and alcohol addiction. His claim of his finger being severed in Australia was also called into question, and photographs of words scribbled over mirrors in blood and paint, as well as secretly recorded disagreements and clashes, were exhibited in court.

Johnny Depp also told the court that he thought Amber Heard and James Franco were having an affair. After splitting from his longtime wife, French actress Vanessa Paradis, Depp and Heard are thought to have started dating that year. Depp and Paradis have two children: Lily-Rose, a girl, and Jack, a son. In March 2014, the pair announced their engagement, and in February 2015, they married. Heard filed for divorce in May of 2016, as per Independent.

According to a lawsuit she filed in 2016, Amber Heard claimed Johnny Depp was "verbally and physically violent" to her, stating Depp damaged her face after hurling a phone at her in their Los Angeles home. Depp was not charged with any crime and rejected the claim.

Johnny Depp admitted that the pair fought regularly during his testimony on Tuesday, but said, "Never did I reach the point of striking Ms. Heard in any way nor have I ever struck any woman in my life." The court has heard audio recordings of some of their furious conversations, including one in which Heard suggested hitting Depp.

According to Anderson, the former couple engaged in what I saw to be mutual abuse.

Johnny Depp has also claimed that he has used physical force to protect himself in the past, citing an instance in which Amber Heard claimed her nose was broken. Depp testified in court that while attempting to restrain Heard, his head collided with his forehead, 7News reported.

Ireland Baldwin jumped into her defense when Johnny Depp called his ex-wife Amber Heard. Alec Baldwin's 26-year-old daughter took him to Instagram to talk about an explosive defamation proceeding between Exe. She stood by Depp while blasting Heard.

Ireland Baldwin argued that men can also experience abuse, calling Heard an "absolute human disaster." She shared a screenshot of a tweet about Depp's reaction to the tape that Heard admitted to hitting the actor, according to Daily Mail.
