The Olympian Biles posted on Twitter that she is engaged with now-fiance Owens, an NFL player
She posted a few photos of the moment when Owens proposed marriage, with a "Woke up a fiancée,"
"I can't wait to spend forever & ever with you, you're everything I dreamed of and more! let's get married!"
"The easiest yes," Biles wrote in the caption.
A Romance That Started Online
According to CNN, Biles and Owens started their romance online before the COVID-19 pandemic happened.
According to Owens, who plays a safety with Houston Texans, when sports events were halted during the lockdown, they had the opportunity to get to know each other well. He added that he is "so thankful" for the moments that established their special union "and made it stronger."
The Olympic gold medalist displayed her new ring in her Instagram account. One picture showed the ring on her hand while clasping her fiance.

Biles, a seven-time medalist, also uploaded a video of her massive engagement ring that marked a whole new level in their relationship per Page Six. In her engagement photos, Biles sported a black minidress and black heeled sandals, while Owens modeled a gray suit matched with black sneakers, as he knelt on one leg.
She also included a video of the ring in her post. The short clip shows the gorgeous sparkler in even more detail as it glistens under a light against a black background.
After the proposal, per People, Owens posted photos of the moment to his Instagram account and thanked ZoFrost for the ring.
The latter congratulated the couple on Instagram in the clip of Biles ring he posted with the caption" Congratulations @jowens_3 and @simonebiles !! Thank you for letting me be part of your big day!!!"
On Instagram stories, Biles also showed off her lovely ring, expressing her joy as she FaceTimed with friends. After first admitting their relationship in public in August 2020, Biles and Owens took their relationship to the next level.
Last summer, while Biles was competing in the Tokyo Summer Olympics, the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
Biles also mentioned before that she loves watching her Owens play in the NFL because "he has such a passion" on the football field.

While NFL reporter Dov Kleiman and Houston-based Digital sports producer Matt Young congratulated the couple on their respective Twitter pages.

Sports icon Billie Jean King, also sent his best wishes to the newly-engaged couple
