Top Health Officials Testify Before Senate Hearing
WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 11: Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) asks Dr. Anthony Fauci, White House Chief Medical Advisor and Director of the NIAID, about gain of function research at a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee hearing on Capitol Hill on January 11, 2022 in Washington, D.C. The committee will hear testimony about the federal response to COVID-19 and new, emerging variants.

Republican Senator Roger Marshall files a resolution to cut short COVID-19 emergency powers of President Joe Biden as a move to stop it as a tool to be abused by the Democrats to get away with its agenda.

When these powers were applied in March 2020, former President Trump declared the pandemic. Since then, the White House has used it not to benefit the country but to its detriment.

Biden's COVID-19 Emergency Powers

Senator Marshall from Kansas, in his website, says these powers must encourage the president to do more than it entails. Instead of getting better, it got worse with more deaths from the virus.

He explained that instead of benefitting the American public, his administration is guilty of spreading false news to scare people. Another is to force mandates that require the vaccine and masking of children.

All these actions, if not stopped, will result in more control and lockdowns that have proven to yield exact results, adds Sen. Marshall, a doctor by profession, when he spoke to Jenn Pellegrino on Prime News.

Sen. Marshall alleged that President Biden is using the emergency powers to allow more inflation to give a stipend to federal programs that keep people from working, according to Newsmax.

He added that it only worsens the disruption of the supply chain and brought attention to the president, and Dr. Anthony Fauci is using it as an excuse to control Americans. They are more concerned about power and control.

Emergency Powers To Extend Beyond March 1

The date is set on March 1 said Republican Senator Roger Marshall and Biden will cease to have the COVID-19 emergency powers; instead, congress will get back control. He added that the Dems will do anything to retain it, the vaccine mandate would end, and the White House is powerless., per Vox.

A mechanism called the Congressional Review Act that the Dems need to dominate is needed to keep the president's emergency powers.

It takes a 50% majority to repeal it and stop Biden, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service cannot impose anymore.

One concern is that much need medical specialists like nurses can be fielded in hospitals and doctor's offices due to mandates. The Democrats weren't concerned about the ill effects of the vaccine mandates.

The White House's tunnel vision and application of emergency powers had only compounded the problems.

Loss of nurses is detrimental, with the no vaccine no work policy. They are naturally immune to the coronavirus, but the president will fire them; to continue their version of immunity in line with their narrative.

Senator Marshall mentioned that these medical professionals have lost work, burned out, and could choose not to get back to work. They are needed now but might change jobs.

Many nurses are stressed out over and are not keen to work again. Feeling they risking themselves every day as front liners, and you've got president Biden treating them badly.

The Republican senator said many Kansans want to return no normal, no COVID. Visiting about 15 town halls in fourteen days, they are tired. There is more respect for the virus, but medicines are needed for the vulnerable.

Republican Senator Roger Marshall is resolute that COVID emergency powers of the president end; it has been a tool misused, not used right by agenda-obsessed Dems.
