A skateboarding prodigy shows off his skills in a YouTube video, popping wheelies up the sidewalk and skating up ramps. The boy- "probably the world's youngest skateboarder"- is just a toddler, the video's caption said.
Wearing nothing but his diaper, 2-year-old Kahlei Stone-Kelly of Victoria, Australia expertly glides around on a skateboard while his father records his tricks.
The video of the toddler has been shared more than 2000 times since it was posted on Facebook in early January, Nine MSN reported. Stone-Kelly rides up and down the sidewalk, jumping onto and off curbs without a helmet, elbow pads or knee pads.
With his short legs Stone-Kelly does fall, but he quickly gets up and back on the skateboard with the encouragement of his father, The Guardian reported.
Stone-Kelly, the youngest of seven siblings, is part of a family that competes in skateboarding competitions. The toddler began skateboarding when he was just 6 months old, the video's caption said. Commenters on the video compared Stone-Kelly to famed professional skateboarder Tony Hawk.
"Lost son of Tony Hawk," Dj riper aguilar wrote.
"Been skating for over 10 years and I can tell when someone has great board control," another commenter, NEXT, wrote. "This kid is gonna rip when he grows bigger limbs.
"But the kid needs a helmet," NEXT added.
