Apple fans are anxiously waiting for iPhone 8 and if rumors to be believed, the device will be unlike anything ever released before.

According to Thrillist insiders, there are a number of big news going around related to iPhone 8.

Wireless Charging

Apple is slowly going wireless. Apple's AirPods, company's first ever wireless headphone, is already stirring much demand from the consumers even before its release.

Apple is also busy perfecting wireless charging devices for iPhones and this technology could very well come together with iPhone 8. Sources also stated that with wireless charging one can charge their mobile as far as across the room.

No Home Button

To increase the screen size, Apple is reportedly removing the Home button. In its place, it is expected that some kind of "virtual" home button will be featured. Apple is also developing its fingerprint scanner for the upcoming device for a smoother work experience.

Eye and Face Scanning Technology

With Fingerprint scanner a hit among users, speculations are being made that Apple may include a scanner in iPhone8 which will scan iris and/or face of a user to unlock and carry on various features in the device.

Curved Screen

Samsung has already beat Apple with Galaxy S7 Edge, where the screen is a little outwardly curved on either sides. However, many believe that Apple will adapt this feature in iPhone 8.

Glass Body

Another major theory regarding the upcoming device is that it will showcase a full glass body, surrounded by metal frame.

Higher Quality Images

Apple had always made sure in the past that the images displayed in the device are best quality. Thus, Apple may adapt an OLED display to ensure high quality images is what consumers will get always.

Three Different Models

Source claim that iPhone 8 will come in three different models. There will be "premium" model, which will sport a curved OLED screen. Other two models will feature 4.7in and 5.5in screen sizes, and LCD display.

As per The Wall Street Journal, Apple is currently testing and developing as many as 10 different prototypes, which if successful will feature in the upcoming iPhone 8.

Apple iPhone 8 is expected to be released during the last quarter of 2017.
