Khloe Kardashian is putting 2013 behind her and is happy to be moving forward with her newly single-status as she bares it all on the cover of British Cosmopolitan's February issue, Us Weekly reported.
Nearly a month after Kardashian and Lamar Odom officially filed for divorce, their first home in Tarzana, California, was listed on the real estate site Trulia for almost $5.5 million, Us Weekly reported.
"I love the new year, new beginnings," Kardashian said in Cosmo, according to Us Weekly. "I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with. You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life."
The mansion recently listed was featured in the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" episode were Khloe, 29, and Odom, 34, were happily house hunting for their first home shortly after their marriage.
The property was purchased for $3.95 million in 2009, the same year they were married after dating for a short period of time, Us Weekly reported.
According to the real estate site, the 8,400 square-foot mansion is located in the gated community of Mulholland Park Estates and was built in a "Mediterranean" style in 2003.
The listing states there are six "en-suite" bedrooms not including the master suite, nine bathrooms, three walk-in closets, a library, a mosaic fire place and formal living and dining rooms. Some of the extras include "a stunning pool with cascading water features, fire pits, and spa," plus "a covered arbor and outdoor kitchen," according to Us Weekly.
The recently separated couple had been married four years before filing for divorce, Us Weekly reported. In the past couple months, Odom's drug problems and alleged cheating scandals began to drive the couple apart.
Thought the reality star admits the divorce took an emotional toll, she said "I don't regret anything about my life," in the Cosmo interview, Us Weekly reported.
"My life has made me who I am at this moment, and I'm very happy with who I am," Kardashian said in the interview, according to Us Weekly. "No matter if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things."
