San Francisco 49ers LT Joe Staley hit the trade rumors again. For past few months, he's been in the rumors mills and suspected on his way to the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings. And now, the New York Giants is also showing interest in him.

The Giants is holding a 4-3 record after Week 8 and in the middle of the pack of NFC division. Good thing their defense is better but it looks like they need more help on their offense. After seven games, their offense is only averaging 19.0 points (26th) and total yards of 345.3 (19th).

And it seems that the Giants is rumored to be chasing Staley before NFL Trade deadline on Tuesday (November 1). According to The Inquisitr, adding the 5-time Pro Bowler to the Giants roster will immediately beef up their offensive line and might help them improve in the standings.

But for now, the Giants and the other teams are still waiting for the asking price of the 49ers for Staley as per stated in the report. But if ever the 49ers decide not to trade Staley, one more player on the Giants list is Cleveland Browns OT Joe Thomas.

According to NJ.com, the Giants are also looking to make a deal with the Browns if ever that talks with the 49ers will not prosper. Though Browns coach Hue Jackson and team management earlier release a statement that they will not trade Thomas to any team but this could change if their current standing will also not change.

As of this moment, the Browns are holding a 0-8 record after a disappointing loss to the New York Jets 31-28 on Sunday. Still winless thru Week 8, the Browns might now re-think the trade to the Giants a possibility.

Though many pundits are saying that the Browns might ask for a first-round pick for Thomas, they might also entertain for a second or third-round pick trade deal in the process.

Will the San Francisco 49ers release Joe Staley to New York Giants? Or will the Giants get Joe Thomas to the Cleveland Browns if Staley is not available?
