TLC's Chilli and comedian Wayne Brady are dating. According to US Weekly, the relationship is still new; sources said the two have been a couple for about two weeks now. Chilli, real name Rozonda Thomas, and Brady enjoyed a date night on Friday, Jan. 3.
The two were spotted holding hands while Brady supported the "CrazySexyCool" singer at a private TLC concert at the MGM in Las Vegas.
"They were so cute, stopping to take pictures with fans," an eyewitness told US. "He kept her close to him the whole time.
Reportedly mid-way through the concert Chilli gave her new man a shout-out and brought him on stage with her.
"It has only been two weeks but they really like each other," the source said. "They've been friends for years but there has always been this flirtation. Both of them had a hard time being single, so they love dating a friend and someone in the business. They make a really great couple."
This is the second time Brady and Chilli have dated. The two were an item a year ago but split after only a few weeks of dating due to busy schedules. The comedian was previously married to Diana Lasso for two years but divorced in 1995. He was also married to Mandie Taketa but they split in 2008. The two have a 10-year-old daughter together named Maile.
Chilli famously dated Usher but split after three years of dating. She has a 16-year-old son named Tron Austin from a previous relationship.
During a recent appearance on "Good Morning America" (via TV One) Chilli, who was single at the time, talked about her love life revealing that she's extremely picky when it comes to her men and she refuses to date a guy who makes less than her.
"I am very picky," she said. "And I think everybody should. Here's my issues with dating down. I think that for a female... no matter how much money you make or not, every woman wants to feel like a princess. I don't look for a guy to pay my bills. I can pay my own bills. I can do a lot of things for myself and thank God I've been blessed. I would love to go on a date with a guy and he pay for it or if we plan a trip together. If I have to pay half, then I need to go on that trip with my girlfriend. Not a dude. I'm just sayin'!"
