The International Consumer Electronics Show 2014 will host a wide range of electronics by some of the leading manufacturers as well as some fresh talents.

All eyes are set on one of the most anticipated electronics events of the year, the International Consumer Electronics Show 2014. The event offers the biggest opportunity for electronics manufacturers to showcase their devices and hint at things to come for the year. The excitement is not just limited to the manufacturers, the consumers too eagerly await the event. Thankfully, the event kicks in during the first month of every year, which keeps the New Year excitement intact.

The CES 2014 will be offering a range of electronic gadgets, which extends from smartphones to wearable tech, tablets to laptops and a lot more.

Over the last couple of weeks, several rumors have surfaced about the line up for CES 2014. Some manufacturers have already revealed what they are going to exhibit at the show. All the rumors, official announcements and a little suspense that is built by the manufacturers will finally be revealed, starting Tuesday.

From what we have heard and what the companies have enlisted for their 2014 endeavors, here is a list of some tech gadgets from different categories that will make their debut at CES 2014.

Growing Smartphones & Tablets Range:

Most of us were treated with a wide range of smartphones and tablets from our favorite manufacturers last year and if that does not quench the thirst for more, then CES 2014 promises new technology for upcoming smartphones as well as some new and old companies showing off their flagship handsets.

It was long rumored that Samsung will show off its Galaxy S5 at the event following reports of slow sales of Galaxy S4 and also debut its new Exynos chip with 64-bit processing power along with Exynos S. These chips, if they enter the market, will improve the overall performance of future smartphones and tablets. If Samsung finds CES 2014 the right time to bring its Galaxy S4 to the market, then consumers will be treated with a 64-bit chip, 16MP camera, all metal body, 2K display, iris scanner and a lot more. Samsung also plans to bring four to five new smartphones during 2014. If the Galaxy S5 does not make it this week, then it is likely that the phone will make its entry at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in February. If we are in luck, Samsung may also show off its Galaxy Note Pro tablet, undoubtedly the tablet with high-end specs, 12.2-inch display, 2.4 GHz processor, 3GB RAM and huge 9.500 mAh battery.

Lenovo will showcase its flagship Vibe Z smartphone, with a 5.5-inch display powered by Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU.

Acer announced Iconia A1-830 tablet to take the stage in Las Vegas this week. The 7.9-inch Android powered tablet features LED-backlit display with IPS technology for as low as $149 and is aimed to take on the entry-level tablet market.

Polaroid is challenging the tablet market with its new line of Q-series tablets running Android KitKat. The company will showcase its Q7, Q8 and Q10 tablets at CES 2014 this week.

LG is also likely to take advantage of the event to broadly showcase its already-released G-Flex. The phone is currently selling only in South Korea, but the company may announce the global availability of the smartphone this week.

Other tech companies making their presence felt at the event with their smartphone and tablet models will be Archos, ZTE, OPPO and others.

Evolution In The Entertainment World:

Samsung best knows how to steal the limelight at events like CES 2014. The company announced in December that it will showcase the world's first 105-inch curved UHD TV at this week's event. The South Korean tech giant also confirmed that it will bring a new home entertainment lineup with new technology of wireless and multiroom technology. The company will also releaseSamsung Smart Home and a new Smart Control remote controller for its smart TV, which includes gesture recognition with a new button console and touch-pad among several other features. So, Samsung fanboys will have a lot to look forward to besides smartphones and tablets.

LG announced that it is extending its OLED TV range with three new models, the 55-inch Curved Screen model (55EB9600), 65-inch TV, Gallery-style 55-inch model (55EA9600), and a large 77-inch set (77EC9800). In December, LG also revealed plans of showing off its monstrous curved UHD TV like Samsung.

Polaroid will also take the opportunity to challenge the 4K television market by showing off its new low-priced 50-inch 4K UHD TV, alongside 50-inch Roku Ready Smart TV. The TVs will retail for $999.99 for the 4K TV and $599.99 for the Roku model.

The Ever-Interesting Wearable Tech:

Wearable tech has slowly been gaining popularity among consumers. The New Year seems a promising one for wearable technology with so many companies working on their versions of smartwatches, wristbands, glasses and lot more. While big players like LG, Samsung, Google and Apple remain the attraction of the event, other startups like Pebble will also make their impact.

Not to forget, Pebble's impactful debut at the CES 2013 and tremendous growth over the year has made the brand an important contender in the wearable tech race. The company took to itsofficial blog this month to tease about showing off something "truly special" in the wearable tech and software category during CES 2014.

With numerous rumors of Apple's iWatch and Google's watch, the event is certain to unfold some details about the smartwatches. The wearable tech is likely to go beyond wrists this year. According to CES senior VP Karen Chupka, the wearable tech will host jackets that adjust to outside temperature and solar charging handbags and more. With Google ruling the computer tech eye wear category, it is likely that some eye wears will also enter the tech industry, making the technology more common.

LG will also step up the game with its LifeBand Touch Sport wristband, which made the headlines after a leaked image earlier this month. The gadget is likely to debut at this week's electronics event.

The CES 2014 will also bring some great news in the wireless carrier industry. T-Mobile is expected to "transform the wireless industry" by removing some pain points that will be detailed at the event.

So the event won't be just about electronics, but will find ways to surprise consumers in different ways.

The CES 2014 will be held in Las Vegas, starting Tuesday, January 7 to January 10.
