Gamers will soon have another option for iPhone game controllers after EvLeaks showed photos of a new game controller being developed by Razer Inc.
After the Cupertino -based company opened opportunities for third-party accessory manufacturers by toting up a controller API in iOS 7, a couple of products have come out.
The first two to emerge were PowerShell of Logitech and Moga Ace Power of Power A. These two innovations are attached to iDevices in a pretty similar fashion – wrapped around in the device. Both devices are powered by batteries, 1500mAh on the Logitech and 1800mAh on the Moga Ace Power, which is said to come handy during stretched gaming hours. Prices of both are quite the same two at $99.99. Both were released in November.
Now comes another a third iPhone game controller from Razer Inc. The company is one of the respected and looked-up gaming accessory manufacturers, is now ready to release a product that will add to the increasing list of iPhone game controllers, and it is rumored to be called “Kazuyo.”
@EvLeaks has posted images of the “Kazuyo” game controller in Twitter. It looked as usual, a wrap around case that will house iPhone and like the typical game controller; it has a multidirectional arrow pad and four action buttons.
It somehow resembles Logitech’s PowerShell. However, Kazuyo has an extra ability to tilt iPhone up, which would like offer a more comfortable and relaxing gaming experience.
For the time being, Razer chose to keep quiet about their plans for an iPhone game controller.
“We work on a variety of different concepts and designs all the time. We do not comment on any future products that may or may not be in development,” a spokesperson for Razer told CNET.
Razer, which is known for its gaming tablets, laptops, keyboards, and accessories, is the manufacturer behind an array of game controllers for the Xbox 360 and other systems.
