When it comes to romance and love interests on "Beauty and the Beast" most of the attention has likely been on Vince and Catherine and their romance complications with Gabe and Tori. However, we saw something else last week that may have diverted our attention for a bit. JT and Tess shared a kiss while they were waiting for the JT's software to break down a phone call Reynolds made.
While some people may think the kiss was adorable, the romance may not go past that kiss.
"It's fun to bring those two characters together, yet it's a bit limiting to play another romance on the show," executive producer Brad Kern said recently according to TVGuide.com. "I don't know how much legs we have for that."
"[When] friends get together, are they supposed to stay together? Or stay friends?" Kern said. "Sometimes you cross the line and it's a good thing, and sometimes it's like, 'Let's go back to where we were."
This season of B&TB has been much better than the previous seasons and the difference Kristen Kreuk described at the beginning of the season has a lot to do with the improvement.
"A lot of the procedural [stuff] that we did at the beginning of season 1 is all gone, and it's just going to be a really rich, mythology-based show this season," Kreuk told EW.com, "Which I'm really looking forward to."
"Beauty and the Beast" airs Mondays at 9/8c on The CW.
