Team SoloMid (TSM) has one of the biggest Esport fan bases in North America, so the disappointment was real after the team landed in 5th place during the 2015 NA LCS Summer Split and performed poorly during the 2015 World Championship, according to LoL Esports.

Stepping up its game for this season, TSM's roster underwent an almost complete overhaul, after all players from last year either retired or transferred teams, except for mid lane player Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg - former NA LCS MVP and considered NA's "Faker."

Marcus "Dyrus" Hill, one of the oldest and most loved members of TSM has retired, while Ham "Lustboy" Jang-sik retired as a player to work as strategic coach for Longzhu Gaming. Lucas "Santorin" Tao Kilmer Larsen and Jason "WildTurtle" Tran have decided to join other teams.

Initially, that would have sounded sad, but now that TSM fans found out which players complete the TSM roster for this year, they are more positive that North America's most favored "League of Legends" team will have a better run this year than they did in 2015.

The rest of the roster now includes Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng, who was once a great rival AD Carry for team Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), Bora "YellOwStaR" Kim, who plays Support and was Fnatic's captain, Kevin "Hauntzer" Yarnell as top lane player, and Dennis "Svenskeren" Johnsen, one of Europe's most well-known aggressive jungle players.

TSM's new roster is possibly one of the strongest NA LCS roster ever combined, putting together great players without sacrificing cohesive communication, according to ESPN Esports.

After Week Two of the 2016 NA LCS Spring Split, the team stands with 2W-2L, ranking third with several other teams.
