"League of Legends" fans and gamers will have a lot to look forward to the coming weeks because the Spring Split tournaments for 2016 have finally begun.

Asian LoL-gaming regions, including the LCK Spring Split, LPL Spring Split and LMS Spring Split, have kicked of their Spring Split tournaments days earlier than Western counterparts. Schedules and streaming of which are available here.

As for the Western regions, EU LCS Spring Split will also be starting earlier than NA LCS. Starting Thursday, Jan. 14, at 6 p.m. CET (12 p.m. EST), professional teams from Europe will be facing each other at the EU LCS studio in Berlin, Germany.

EU LCS will be joined by 10 teams: Fnatic, Origen, Elements, G2 Esports, H2K, Giants, Splyce, Unicorns of Love, Team Vitality and Roccat. These teams will have to face each and every other team in a "Best of One" game format, according to LoL Esports.

Each win a team gets will give them Champion points that will determine their spot at the Worlds Championship 2016.
