The long wait is over for fans of the North American "League of Legends" Championship Series, as it kicks off the Spring Split season, Jan. 16, 3 p.m., at the NA LCS Studio in Santa Monica, Calif.

The Spring Split is the first half of the championship series where 10 teams from North America will battle each other to earn Championship Points that would ultimately give them the chance to earn a spot at the Worlds Championship 2016.

For this year, North America will include the following teams: Team Solo Mid (TSM), Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), Cloud9, Immortals, Team Dignitas, NRG Esports, Renegades, Liquid, Team Impulse and Echo Foxx.

Eyes are locked on TSM, where Bjergsen, hailed to be the "Faker of NA," will be playing with a completely new team, as all four of his team members from last year have either retired or joined another team. Despite the major roster change, TSM remains to be one of the teams on the top tier, as it was able to lock in on other great players like Doublelift for AD Carry and YellOwStaR on support, according to ESPN Esports.

Echo Foxx is also a team to look forward to, especially because it is a new team that three-time NBA champion Rick Fox has put together, as previously reported by HNGN.
