The Florida Gators play the Wisconsin Badgers on Tuesday. The college basketball game tips off at 9 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast HERE (FLA) and HERE (WIS), or watch the live stream HERE.
No. 11 Florida meets No. 20 Wisconsin in a battle of nationally-ranked teams. The Badgers are 1-0 after an 86-75 win on Friday against St. John's. Junior guard Josh Gasser, who missed all of last season with a torn ACL, returned and logged 19 points and eight rebounds.
"Just gutsy, tough - that's Josh," Badgers coach Bo Ryan said, via ESPN. "Thirty-some games last year where he wasn't on the floor where we could have used that, that energy, that moxie. He might not do that every night, but he certainly showed why he works so hard in the offseason and is just so anxious to get back on the court and be himself."
Gasser was one of five Badgers who scored in the double digits against St. John's.
"That's kind of our game this year - all five guys on the floor can shoot," said Gasser. "We were really taking advantage of that especially early and especially when the game was getting tight."
The Gators, meanwhile, are coming off a 77-69 victory on Friday over North Florida. Despite the win, and the career-high 28 points from Casey Prather, Florida coach Billy Donovan wasn't happy with his team's effort in the win.
"If we play like we did Friday, we have no shot," Donovan told the school website. "... We are light years away from even being a remotely good defensive team right now and light years away from even being a ranked team."
Florida will go into Tuesday's game shorthanded. Sophomore forward Dorian Finney-Smith, junior center Damontre Harris and senior guard Scottie Wilbekin are suspended indefinitely after violating team rules, according to ESPN.
