Kate Upton is going to supermodel to movie star. The 21-year-old Sports Illustrated model is reportedly being eyed for a lead role in the highly anticipated movie "Entourage." According to The Wrap, "multiple individuals" have told them that Upton could be starring as Vincent Chase's love interest.

Nothing has been confirmed yet and her rep has reportedly denied commenting on the rumors but did tell The Wrap that there was interest in Upton for the role at the begging of the year. Warner Bros., who is responsible for bringing the HBO series to the movie screen, also refused to comment on whether Upton was being considered or not.

The model would join cast members Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillion, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven, who all starred in the TV series. It wasn't an easy road to get all the guys on board with the film. According to the Huffington Post, the film was delayed because of "heated" salary negotiations because everyone wasn't making the same amount of money.

When producer Mark Wahlberg was asked what was going on with the movie back in October he said it was delayed because of "greed."

"Soon as [those] guys stop being so greedy," he said. "No, we just want to make sure... it's one of those things where if the movie is a success, then we'll get to make a lot more of them, and everybody will make a lot of money."

"We want to make it for the fans," he continued. "It's the most I've ever been asked about a movie."

The HBO series first aired in 2004 and is loosely based off Wahlberg's life. It follows a young Hollywood star (Chase) and his friends as they try to navigate the ins and outs of fame. Production for the movie is expected to start in January.
