New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is reportedly at the top of the Philadelphia Eagles' wish list for their next head coach, according to Eagles reporter Paul Domowitch. The Eagles also reportedly have Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh at the top of their list as well, but it seems unlikely that he will choose to leave Baltimore even after a disappointing season.

The Eagles fired head coach Chip Kelly prior to Sunday's win over the New York Giants, and the Eagles will interview interim head coach Pat Shurmur on Monday. The Eagles will also reportedly interview Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase this Tuesday, as he is one of the top coordinator candidates expected to get a head coaching job this offseason, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Reports have already surfaced that Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson is one of the top candidates in Philadelphia, but if Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie could get a chance to get Payton, it seems unlikely that he will pass up on the opportunity. Multiple teams have interest in Payton, and with a head coaching vacancy in San Francisco the 49ers are reportedly interested in the former Super Bowl winning coach as well, according to Schefter.

Payton is still under contract with New Orleans, and it will reportedly cost a team a second-round draft pick to acquire the coveted head coach, according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out, as many teams are interested in Payton, and Lurie is clearly making sure the Eagles take a look at plenty of candidates before making a decision.
