Sydney Sixers Vs. Sydney Thunder Live Stream: 1st Match Of Big Bash League 05 (LIVE STREAM, LIVE SCORES)

The Sydney Thunder will take on the Sydney Sixers in the inaugural match of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2015-16 Thursday at Sydney's Spotless Stadium.

The fifth season of Australia's highly popular T20 tournament, the KFC BBL, will begin on Dec. 17 with the inaugural match between the Sixers and the Thunder. The Adelaide Strikers and the Melbourne Stars will play in the second match on Friday. The season features eight teams including the Sydney Sixers, the Melbourne Stars, the Adelaide Strikers, the Sydney Thunder, the Perth Scorchers, the Melbourne Renegades, the Hobart Hurricanes and the Brisbane Heat, according to Cricket Australia. Several international T20 players like Chris Gayle, Darren Sammy, Kumar Sangakkara, Dwayne Bravo and Kevin Pietersen are drafted in the Aussie club squads for the tournament.

The Thunder has some of the world's best batsmen, inlcuding Shane Watson, Jacques Kallis and Mike Hussey. "It's good banter. We all play together, we know what works and what ticks each other off, so it's going to be a great contest. I'm looking forward to playing against the likes of Hussey, Kallis and Watson - it's a great opportunity for our blokes to play against that calibre of player," Sixers' wicketkeeper Brad Haddin, according to The Telegraph.
