Arrow Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers: Will the Canary Help Oliver Tonight?; Stephen Amell Talks His Character's Predicament

In tonight’s episode of “Arrow”, Oliver will have to get out of his current Laurel situation. Although having a bunch of guys point assault rifles at you seems like an impossible situation, we expect our green super hero to get out of this one.

If you’re looking to Stephen Amell for answers one how his character escapes—he’s not offering much help.

"He doesn't get out of it, he lowers his bow," Amell recently told TV Guide.com. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim added, “"He gets out of the situation with some very unlikely assistance.”

This isn’t the first time Amell has offered a less than illuminating hint about Oliver’s escape method.

"People are asking me to lower my bow, and that's how we pick up episode three," he recently told EOnline. "And that's what I do, I lower my bow, and I'm not the Arrow. And it's not good. I'm in big trouble."

There are a few possible outcomes here.

As I suggested before, this is probably where the Black Canary makes her second appearance. If she and Oliver are working together, then the S.W.A.T. team stands little to no chance.

My second theory is that Diggle and Felicity come to Olie’s rescue. If Felicity causes a disturbance through hacking then maybe Diggle will be able to take out some of the guys and give Oliver a chance. However, I think this is a stretch.

My last theory is that Roy helps somehow. I’m almost positive this one isn’t happening.

“Arrow” airs Wednesday at 8/7c on The CW.
